Business Visits & Events Partnership

The Business Visits & Events Partnership is an umbrella organisation representing leading trade and professional organisations, government agencies and other significant influencers in the business visits and events sector. The BVEP exists to: 1. Garner the cohesive opinion of these stakeholders and to collectively influence and develop policies, practices and strategies that support and generate growth in the sector and, 2. Raise sector awareness through clear communications of the social and economic benefits of the business visits and events sector. The Partnership seeks to provide a cohesive point of view for the entire business visits and events sector. The BVEP works with prominent sector leaders including its partners, government departments and agencies to influence and develop policies and practices favourable to the growth of business events, and trade and creative enterprise through business visits and events. It has the support of the leading trade and professional organisations and government agencies with a shared interest in the economic benefit and growth of conferences, meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs, incentive travel, corporate hospitality, ceremonies, as well as other business, sporting, cultural and festival events.

Caravan and Motorhome Club

The Caravan and Motorhome Club is a community of a million people who love the great outdoors. Known as The Caravan Club until February 2017, it operates the largest privately-owned network of quality touring sites in the UK, offering members access to over 200 Club sites and 2,500 privately-owned places (Certificated Locations) to stay. It also offers a choice of 300 sites across continental Europe. The Club provides expert advice and training courses, overseas travel services and tours, insurance services and exclusive offers and discounts to members.

Coach Tourism Association

The CTA has a membership of more than 300, nearly half of whom are coach tour operators and tour wholesalers. The other half of the membership is made up of industry supporters who help make up the coach tourism package - they include hotel groups, Tourist Boards and major visitor attractions, ticket agencies and ferry operators, as well as professional advisers and B2B companies. The CTA has played an increasingly important role in building relationships with other trade bodies and tourist organisations. It has close ties with the Home Nations Tourists Boards, the Association of Group Travel Organisers, European Tour Operators Association and the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT). It is a founder member of the European Alliance for Coach Tourism.

Confederation of British Industry

The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) is an independent, non-profit making, non-party political organisation funded by the subscriptions paid by its members. It is dedicated to promoting the aims and needs of business. The CBI's objective is to help create and sustain the conditions in which business in the UK can compete and prosper.

Confederation of Passenger Transport UK

The Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT) is the national trade association representing UK bus, coach, light rail and metro operators. Suppliers of goods and services to the industry are also able to become members.

Country Land and Business Association

The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) is the leading organisation representing and supporting owners of land and businesses in rural communities, including all forms of land management, as well as tourism, services and industry.

Cumbria Tourism

Cumbria Tourism aspires to be excellent in all aspects of our Tourist Board and Destination Management remit. Achieving, maintaining and improving on our 'excellence ambition' is not an easy task but one which all staff at CT are totally committed to and determined to progress. The private sector and public sector partnership that is CT goes from strength to strength, we now have membership which represents 3,000 visitor dependent businesses, in turn these businesses represent over 31,000 people, therefore reaching most people employed in some aspect or other of tourism in Cumbria.

English UK

English UK is the national association of accredited English Language centres, and the world's leading language teaching association. We are a UK-registered charity with the key aim of advancing the education of international students in the English language. We have around 460 members, all fully-accredited language-teaching centres in the state and private sector. We work to represent their interests, promote the UK market, and to ensure that students get the highest-possible standards of teaching and care. We also work with a range of partners, including Government bodies and the best study abroad agents, in the interests of members, students and the industry.

European Holiday Home Association

The European Holiday Home Association was founded in 2013 and has as members some of the largest holiday home rental companies in Europe plus a number of local and national trade associations representing the sector. Its role is to represent the interests of the holiday home sector primarily at European level and at national and local level where appropriate.

European Tour Operators Association

The European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) is the only trade association representing the interests of international inbound and intra-European tour operators and their suppliers directly at European level.
