The Guild of Registered Tourist Guides

The Guild is the national professional association for Blue Badge Tourist Guides working throughout the British Isles, including the Isle of Man and Jersey. With around 700 full members and a network of regional and local associations with nearly 1,000 members holding group membership, the Guild represents around 1,700 guides. Its members offer guiding in 34 different languages.

Tourism for All

Tourism for All UK is a national registered charity which provides; information to people with disabilities and older people in relation to accessible accommodation and other tourism services; expertise and support to the tourism and hospitality sector to provide accessible services for all; a network for organisations and individuals who wish to support our objectives.

Tourism Society

The Tourism Society is an organisation for people working in tourism and travel, including educators and students, and others interested or involved in the visitor economy across all its sectors worldwide. Membership represents sectors such as attractions, hotels and other visitor accommodation, catering and hospitality, tour operators, transport and travel agents, among others and also links other people interested in travel and tourism such as architects, engineers, lawyers, surveyors and accountants. Established in 1977, we aim to enhance our members' professionalism, knowledge and understanding of the industry through events, publications and networking opportunities and to increase awareness of the economic, social and cultural benefits of tourism.

Tourism South East

TSE is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to provide services and expertise that support the performance and growth of tourism businesses. We achieve this by working hard with others to deliver a range of relevant services and support programmes designed with our member businesses' and destination partners' needs in mind. We also make our expertise available to other clients in the South East and beyond on a paid-for basis. Activities include a full range of domestic and international marketing campaigns, PR and web promotions, highly respected training courses, research and visitor information services, networking opportunities and advocacy.


For over 30 years, UKinbound has been representing the interests and uniting 300 of the UK's inbound tourism businesses, providing business and networking opportunities for our membership, whilst maintaining best practice and the highest standards of operation in the industry. UKinbound represents a diverse membership of over 300 tourism businesses, including inbound tour operators, wholesalers and DMCS (Destination Management Companies), hoteliers and other accommodation providers, attractions, retailers, restaurateurs, transport providers and other suppliers who provide services for inbound tourists to the UK, both leisure and business travellers. All our members are based in the UK and their business is wholly, or to a significant extent, dependent on inbound tourism. The primary aim of the association is to represent the interests of our membership to help them manage successful, profitable businesses that are part of a vibrant and sustainable inbound tourism industry.

Visit Cornwall

VisitCornwall is the tourism service for Cornwall and undertakes the destination marketing and tourism development functions and promotes the areas distinctive qualities to the domestic market and key international markets. VisitCornwall is a part of Cornwall Development Company, the economic development service for Cornwall Council.

Visit Kent

Visit Kent is a public/private partnership with an industry led board. It is recognised by the two upper tier local authorities Kent County Council and Medway Council, the 12 district councils and the South East LEP as the official Destination Management Organisation for Kent and Medway responsible for supporting and growing the tourism industry.

Visit Wiltshire

VisitWiltshire is a business led and partner based organisation, responsible for promoting Wiltshire outside of the county by raising awareness and in doing so attract more visitors and guests who stay longer, spend more and recommend the county to other potential visitors. We became a company limited by guarantee in August 2011 and Wiltshire Council, who are our primary funders, recognise us as the official tourism marketing organisation for the county as do the national tourism agencies including VisitEngland and VisitBritain. We provide services and expertise that supports the performance and growth of over 500 VisitWiltshire tourism business partners from all sectors of the visitor economy across the whole of Wiltshire and beyond. These include On line and Off line marketing, National Campaigns, Group and Travel Trade programmes, high profile PR coverage, as well as business support including partner business services, fortnightly industry e-news, aswell as advice, research and industry insight, advocacy, training opportunities and networking events.


VisitBrighton is the official tourism body of Brighton & Hove City Council, working in partnership with local businesses engaged in the tourism sector. VisitBrighton has three main areas of activity: marketing Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area to domestic and overseas leisure visitors; promoting the City as a destination for conferences, meeting & events and providing assistance to visitors before and during their visit to the City. The role of VisitBrighton is to support and grow the value of tourism by working in partnership locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, supporting and creating jobs in tourism in the local area.


VisitBritain has been formed by the merger of the British Tourist Authority and the English Tourism Council in order to market Britain to the rest of the world and England to the British. Its mission is to build the value of tourism by creating world class destination brands and marketing campaigns. It also builds partnerships with - and provides insights to - other organisations which have a stake in British and English tourism.
