The Institute of Event Management is the professional body for all those involved in the creation, planning, organisation, and delivery of events across all strands of the Events Sector globally. It was established in 2012 to provide professional recognition via three routes – accreditation, experiential and on the job training (e.g. apprenticeship). In addition it provides opportunities for continuing professional development, a body of knowledge together with engagement and strong network opportunities.
