Established in 1944, RHA is the UKs only trade body dedicated solely to the operators of commercial vehicles – trucks, coaches and vans.

RHA is dedicated to serving the needs of commercial road users across the United Kingdom, businesses who provide the logistical connections for freight and passengers and which keep the UK economy on the move. We represent over 8,500 members, ranging from owner operators to those with fleets of over 1000 vehicles. Between them, they account for well over 100K commercial vehicles currently operating on UK roads.

Our policy team work closely with the Government and their agencies in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast as well as local authorities across the UK. We ensure members’ voices are heard on national issues as well as local policy matters. Whether its issues with Direct Vision Standards on lorries in London, promoting tourism in Wales, overgrown trees blocking roads in Antrim or issues with coach parking in the Scottish Highlands, our team are there to support the freight and passenger transport sectors.
