The National Coastal Tourism Academy is the leading organisation on Coastal Tourism in England. We understand coastal issues, opportunities for growth and how to overcome the challenges that are exaggerated on the coast. Specifically the NCTA exists to: 1. Support the tourism industry 2. Bridging gaps in coastal tourism research 3. Share lessons learnt and best practice 4. Undertake development projects to make change happen 5. Vision, leadership and advocacy for coast The NCTA are currently leading on delivery of the England’s Coast Discover England Fund project, which is working with over 30 DMOs to grow the number of international visitors to the English Coast. The NCTA also leads on coordinating and delivering the Vision for Coastal Tourism.
